i was enormously disappointed that the guggenheim was surrounded by scaffolding, but the interior more than made up for it with the amazing architecture that the building is of course famous for. the main exhibit is an architect itself, zaha hadid which was extremely impressive.

the rebuilt moma building is fantastic. the huge open spaces make excellent galleries and they’re really well used. i spent more time looking at the building than the exhibits though :)

being museums, they of course have very strict rules on photography so no flash in moma and no camera above the ground floor in the guggenheim :(

expect these pictures to be replaced soon by more post-processed versions to get rid of all the noise and make the colors a bit more uniform…

just the one picture of the fountains on the junction of 59th street and 8th ave, columbus circle.

got bored of working so i went onto the deck of our new york office and took these. the cloud moved in a couple of hours ago but the sun’s low enough now to light everything underneath it.

a business trip to new york has served as my first proper introduction to snow. we saw a hell of a lot of it and apparently i acted like a child.

i’ll go with that… :)
